Each level and objective is based on a world from DKC. It is a Kongruent adventure.

Each objective centers around platforming and barrel tossing to overcome obstacles.

The goal is to renew DK Island now that the Kongs have won it back.

Themes of restoring hope prevail as the Kongs recover the island.

Plot:

Kongo Jungle is a flourishing forest where the Kongs live in times of peace. The rest of the island is out of mind, but someone must take the initiative to fix it. To fully restore the island since the Kremling invasion, they must work their way up the island to recover the manufactured and natural resources that exist. By the time that they are through, they can rebuild a thriving paradise. >Spoilers<
